HGTV’s Green Home 2012: Serenbe

Serenbe, a sustainable community less than 30 minutes from Atlanta, is this year’s location for HGTV’s Green Home 2012.

While living in Atlanta, I had the opportunity to visit this idealic community. I especially loved the homes, shops, and farm-to-table style restaurants. I especially loved the restaurant, The Farmhouse.
I always enjoy HGTV’s Home Give Aways and often dream about winning one of these new homes filled with such stylish decor and amenities.
Way back in January when I started this blog, I posted about my favorite rooms and accessories in the HGTV Dream House 2012. I did not win:(
Though the front facade above is not my favorite design style, I do appreciate many of the rooms and details in this year’s Green Home.
Grab your coffee and sip with me as you tour some of my favorite things in the Green Home:

  1. Hi Ron,

I enjoyed the tour. My favorite is the outdoor entertaining.

  2. Thanks for the tour! I really don't care for the interior design. It reminds me too much of the typical 60's era homes I grew up in. They were out of date in no time and people couldn't wait to get rid of that stuff.

    I love your blog!

  3. Hi Ron! I just discovered your blog and I'm so glad I did. You have serious decorating skillz! I'm a sucker for Southern decor. It's something I've been striving to incorporate into my own home up here in Joisey. Pop over for a visit sometime.
