The Acorn at Wisteria Hill {Custom Botanicals for sale}

It’s Friday, and I am again participating in Kelly’s Korner, Show Us Your Life series. Today, Kelly wants to see our direct sales ideas.

Direct selling is the marketing and selling of products directly to consumers away from a fixed retail location. Peddling is the oldest form of direct selling.Modern direct selling includes sales made through the party plan, one-on-one demonstrations, and other personal contact arrangements.”

I guess my side business, The Acorn at Wisteria Hill, can fit into the latter category--- personal contact. Though I do not hold private parties or go door-to-door selling my creations, I am always most happy to venture into a clients home to create a masterpiece or two. And I have done several “how-to” workshops.

Whether its custom botanicals for the changing seasons or botanicals to spruce up a mantle, dining table, or nightstand, I love to put my creative touches to use.

My business flourishes seasonally as clients love ever changing botanicals.

Dried hydrangeas, grasses, pods, dried fruit and veggies, berries galore… I use them all.

  1. Ron, your work is so classy and beautiful! I am truly envious of your talent. I don't have one "artistic gene" in my body! Might have to commission you to do something for me soon. :) Have a great weekend!
