My Favorite Christmas Cards {Christmas 2012}

By now most of you have received this year’s Christmas card from J and I. If you haven’t, I mailed my last batch today, so check your mailbox soon.

Every year, we head to see Margaret and Sallie at our favorite Magazine Street custom stationery shoppe, Scriptura. Since moving back to New Orleans in 2008, we have ordered our cards from this charming shop.

I also try and keep a copy of ones from past years. Though I do not have them all, here are the ones we have mailed out to friends and family in years past.

My favorite from our Atlanta years is a card we sent out in 2005. Paper Affair at Peachtree Battle designed it from a pen and ink original drawing of our home by Dena Wade. From our house to yours… I love it!

I love receiving cards from friends and family. All are displayed on the cork board in the kitchen.

  1. My brother-in-law James has been designing his own Christmas cards for years--all are very clever. Maybe next year I will get around to sending out Christmas cards! Have a wonderful day! :)

  6. Hello! I just found your blog! I have been just browsing around and have fallen in love with your style.
    Cards are special. I save all mine and put them in a scrap book each year.

  7. We always design our own card. It's like a dress - I would hate knowing someone else had one just like it!

    Very beautiful choice this year.
