Ma Maison {Parlor Transformation}

The parlor at the front of my home is always a favorite place to share a cocktail and conversation.

Recently, I made a change in the entrance of the parlor.

I decided to move a mirrored chest down from the Nest, our second guest bedroom. J & I purchased this chest from Boxwoods while living in Atlanta. I have always loved it, so I thought it would look great in the entrance area to my home.

Atop the chest, I added a crystal lamp from Patina Home in Smyrna (GA). The large porcelain mollusk from Chic Chateau sits aside the lamp.

The large concrete clam shell is still filled with starfish, bleached sand dollars, and speckled eggs (a hint of Spring).

Three Aiden Gray finials and the Lafco Beach House candle complete the entire chest vignette.

I think the mirrored chest looks great underneath the large Wisteria Oyster Shell mirror.

I really like how the mirrored chest adds some “glam” to the parlor.

I moved the demilune that was there before to the Nest (more later).
