From One Room to Another…

I am certain all of you know how this happens. You acquire something new and the rearranging begins. Right?

Case in point lately with my new artwork.

I received two gorgeous Jean McKee oils for Christmas, and I wanted each to hang at the bottom of the stairway. That led to moving two Southern bird oils.

Where oh where do I move them?

I finally decided to move them on the wall between the dining room and den creating a mini-gallery wall with the already hung large bird oil. The colors are right, and I am enjoying the new look.

With any change, it takes some time to get used to the new arrangement, but I really like it.

What do you think?

It kinda reminds me of The Fixx’s, “One Thing Leads to Another”. You remember that song. I hope!

Artwork switcheroo, y’all!

  4. Great choices! The new gallery wall looks fabulous. The new art work on the wall with the stairs looks great there. They add a bit of color and perhaps whimsy.

  8. The new oils are quite intriguing - and I think the birds DO belong together! (And I really must make some of that soup chicken/veggies/noodles,etc.!)
