Custom Art by Lisa Papa

I recently commissioned Thibodaux artist Lisa Papa with the task of painting a canvas for Jeff’s upcoming birthday. Since it was ready early, I decided to gift him his present early.

Jeff took this photo a couple years ago and loves it. It definitely captures the spirit of an Uptown Mardi Gras.

I sent Lisa the photo. First, she painted a pillow. I loved it, so I sent her the canvas, and she worked her magic. I love the colors she used and its originality.

Lisa is a great artist with a great eye. You can visit her facebook page HERE.

As you can see, I added a picture light to capture its beauty at night.

  1. Good morning, Ron! I've been waiting for you to do a blog on J's present! I saw it when I picked up a wooden crown from Lisa and immediately knew who it was for. It's absolutely beautiful, and I know J loves it. Love the light over it, too! Have a great day! xoxo
