J & I picked up Honey from her home in Thibodaux yesterday afternoon for a weekend of Mother’s Day celebration.
First stop, Spahr’s Restaurant for a world-famous Bloody Mary.
We then dined last evening at our Uptown fave, Upperline. It is Honey’s favorite restaurant in the city. She loves the slow-roasted duck with the ginger-peach sauce and crème brulee for dessert.
She loves her old-fashioneds…. Cheers to Honey!
Once home, she opened presents.
This morning, we walked to Manhattan Jack’s for breakfast.
It was great to have Honey with us for the weekend. Honey has been such a rock for me and my sister through the years.
I know Honey enjoyed her special day.
