An Easter Mantle

As I indicated yesterday, I do not do much Easter decorating, but I do like to show some signs of the season.

On the parlor mantle, I added a furry bunny as well as gilded eggs to a bird's nest on the pan of the vintage scale.

Along with my trophy cups, vintage leather-bound books, wasps nests, and minerals, the mantle indicates that Spring has sprung on Perrier Street.

A round marble container with an agate completes the vignette of the lower mantle.

Springtime mantle, y'all!

  1. I am inspired to create something as classy as this. So many mantles I see are filled with tacky Easter junk.
