Clam Shell and Hydrangeas

Yes! I am a Southern gentleman. I believe that when someone moves into a new home I should bring a housewarming gift the first time I visit.

My sister and BIL recently moved into Chateau Lapeyre, and The Acorn at Wisteria Hill got to work.

I found the large clam shell at Abode in Metairie, gilded the inside gold, and created an arrangement of dried hydrangeas and lemon leaves.

The arrangement look "at home" in my sister's dining room. It takes center stage on the zinc dining table.

Clam Shell & Hydrangeas, y'all!
