The Weekend That Was {Easter 2016}

We celebrated the weekend with crawfish, cocktails, jazz, and family.

The Easter weekend was a great one. We started the weekend with a trip to Houma for an annual crawfish boil at my sister and bro-in-law's beautiful new home. It is always fun to spend beautiful days with friends and family.

On Sunday, some of our family met J & I at Muriel's on Jackson Square in the French Quarter. The food, drink, and jazz were outstanding. It is always fun to be in the Quarter for Easter Sunday.

How did you celebrate Easter weekend?

Easter Weekend, y'all!

  1. Good morning, Ron! Looks like you had a great Easter weekend. John David is so precious! I had a good Easter weekend, too. On Saturday, we had our annual Fauntleroy crawfish boil--it was our 29th year doing this, and our family has grown so big--fun day. It's always nice to see my cousins that I hardly ever see even though most of us live in the same town. On Sunday, the hubby and I had brunch at the Foundry on the Bayou. I have been wanting to go for a while, and since it was just the two of us, I made reservations so that we could try it out. The food was very good, and Steve loved that they have a Bloody Mary bar. You and J should motor down to Thibodaux one Sunday and try it out. I think you would be impressed! Have a great day! xoxo
