Southern Bird {Rayne Housey}

Recently while in Judy at the Rink, I picked up another painting by the talented New Orleans artist Rayne Housey.

Her work on gold-leafed canvases are so pretty and classic with a modern edge.

My newest is a Southern bird. Ain't she a beaut? I added the newest painting to the mantle in the parlor.

You can see more of Rayne's work HERE.

Rayne Housey, y'all!

  1. How pretty! I have never seen metallic gold paint used on a canvas like that. It makes an elegant backdrop for that pretty bird.
