Shopping Seattle {Watson Kennedy}

I have been following the daily blog, Ted Kennedy Watson, for a while, so last year during my first visit to Seattle I made a bee line to his two shops. I was not disappointed. Both shops are filled with fine selections of found goods, natural curiosities, accessories, and culinary delights.

The shop is filled with lovely vignettes neatly organized in colors of green, orange, red, yellow, and blue.

Though I did not see Ted this year (here's a photo from last July), his employee John was as helpful and friendly as could be. I look forward to receiving my purchases as I know they are always handled with care.

Here are some of my favorite things:

You must make your way over to Watson Kennedy when you visit Seattle. My favorite location is on First Avenue. The other location is located at the Inn at the Market on Pine Street.

Watson Kennedy is a feast for the senses.

In my honest opinion: I guess my only disappointment was that I probably could have used the same blog post from last year as both stores looked similarly appointed. I like when stock is moved and vignettes reworked as it just seems refreshed, and the offerings appear "new".

Watson Kennedy, y'all!

  1. I remember this shop from your visit last summer. I bet you bought lots of treasures. I too like shops that update their look from time to time. It looks like the same merchandise. I cannot wait to see what you purchased. xo Mary Susan Krohl, TN

  2. Good afternoon, Ron! I, too, remember your post on Watson Kennedy last summer, and I agree that a lot of the merchandise is the same as last summer and displayed the same. I would have thought that an upscale store like WK would have brought in new merchandise or at least change up the vignettes. Maybe, they need to hirer you to come once a year and update the vignettes of the merchandise! Oh well,;) I look forward to seeing what you bought in a future post! Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo
