Classroom Theme 2016

Each year in May, I search pinterest for ideas for the following year's classroom. I have fun all summer ordering and collecting items that set the tone for the year. I adore etsy, Zazzle, and Cafe Press. All three sites are perfect for inspiration and for ideas.

Have you guessed my theme for this year? I shared my lunch bag earlier this week. Here are some more items that recently arrived.

I will share the entire decorated classroom next week. I head to school for teacher meetings on Monday and Tuesday. The students arrive on Wednesday.

  1. I cannot wait to see this year's classroom, Ron. You definitely should consider decorating classrooms and bulletin boards for a living when you retire. Hugs, Mary Ell

  3. Good morning, Ron! I have no idea what your theme is, but I'm sure it will be just as clever as in past years or even more so. Don't let me down! ;) I'm waiting with "baited breath" to see your classroom! Have a great day! xoxo

  5. Ron- I taught high school English for 32 years and I now train teachers.
You are sending such an important message with your care and your effort in your classroom.
The first day your students walk in they know 3 things: you care, they are going to learn, and you mean business.
    Wow!
    What a gift you have.

  7. I always loved prepping my room for students. As a French teacher I always looked for French artist posters...at bargin prices!
