Partially Awesome

It was an exciting day to be a science teacher. My students were able to witness a solar eclipse (about 75% totality).

I had students create viewing boxes out of shoe and cereal boxes. I always love to see the creativity many students displayed.

After some talk on eclipses and a Brainpop video, the students were ready. The school provided NASA-approved viewing glasses, but they seemed to preferred their handmade creations. Old school is still cool, y'all!

I donned my newest tee from Tricia of HKL Designs and Amanda of Dixie Delights. Could it be more perfect to commemorate this occasion? The tee was perfect for this science teacher.

You have to truly love when students have fun with science.

P.S. I'm still waiting for one of these....cheers!!!

Partially Awesome, y'all!
