Too Early for Fall ???

Don't get me wrong I love the Fall season, but is it a little early to decorate for the season when the temperatures here are in the 90s and the humidity is sky high?

I feel that we do rush the seasons (especially in blogland), but I for one am hoping for cooler weather on the horizon.

My friend Timothy of the Timothy DeClue Collection in Seattle posted that Seattle was enjoying some fall weather lately. Now that would be a relief! He has even been fluffing up his well-appointed shop for the fall season. It is looking so good. Timothy definitely has an eye for creating such lush vignettes. I really wish I had time this fall to get there. If you are in Seattle this Fall, be sure to stop by and tell him hello (tell him the Uptown Acorn sent you).

Timothy DeClue Collection is located at 1124 First Ave, Seattle 98101 in the heart of downtown Seattle.

Hoping for some Fall weather, y'all!

  3. I hate how the seasons seem rushed into also but we've had a cool summer and have a few trees showing color. I figure sometime mid September I'll give into fall decorating. I like those giant mercury glass acorns!

  5. Good morning, Ron! Love those fall vignettes, especially those mercury glass acorns! According to the local meteorologists, we are supposed to get some cooler and drier weather late next week--we shall see! Have a great Labor Day weekend! xoxo

  7. Love your Fall vignettes. I woke up this morning and thought I was in New Orleans, our weather is so HOT 98 and the humidity 100. We are getting some of Harvey's weather as it came up through to us. I will be so happy when Gall really comes.
    Enjoy your week.
