Uptown Acorn Travels {Perry Lane Hotel}

The brand new Perry Lane Hotel opened just last Friday, and J and I were very happy to be some of the firsts to stay in this well-appointed boutique hotel. As a Platinum Preferred member of Starwood Hotels, J had some inside information to this new gem in downtown historic Savannah.

Stationed in the midst of the city just steps away from the iconic Forsyth Park, Perry Lane Hotel invites guests to come and immerse themselves in all that is Savannah. Our luxury hotel’s location and exclusive access invites guests to join the soirĂ©e, slide into the crowd, and experience Savannah as they please. For the party enthusiasts among us, we provide a doorway into the action. For those who prefer to sit back and watch, cozy nooks abound. As for Perry Lane, you’ll find us here, in the midst of it all — the peacock at the party.
This newly minted member of Starwood's esteemed Luxury Collection boasts 167 refreshingly elegant guestrooms, including 12 luxurious suites. Perry Lane Hotel offers you the perfect place to stay in style as you explore our vibrant city. Three lively food and beverage venues create a thriving social atmosphere, while our state-of-the-art fitness center, 8,100 sq. ft. of event space, and ever-changing calendar of local on- and off-property programming add up to a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

The suite was beautiful. The finishes and decor were stylish and modern. Any suite with a separate bar is a special place to me.

J and I spent lots of time at the Peregrin Pool. The rooftop pool and bar are such an added amentity due to the hot, humid Savannah temperatures.
Peregrin is modern sophistication at its best, featuring exquisite views of the cityscape, premium cocktails and a curated wine list. Step inside a world of refinement and playful intrigue, where curiosities take center stage amid a luxurious backdrop. The world is at your fingertips with casual lawn games, tropical plants and tranquil pool at the all-weather, open-air rooftop deck. The Peregrin experience is modern sophistication at its best, without the pomp and circumstance.

J and I also dined in the hotel's restaurant The Emporium for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, and the decor was quite stylish too.
At The Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market, variety and quality take center stage in a cultural epicenter celebrating unique roots and bold originality. Bursting with vibrant energy, this local gathering place boasts an approachable, curated, highly diverse offering. The Emporium welcomes you, whether you’re staying a while and savoring the experience with a wine-tasting or cooking class, or just stopping in for a quick gourmet sandwich and charcuterie board before heading out on your next adventure.
From fresh fish to wild foraged mushrooms, The Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market showcases locally-sourced, quality menu items that will take your dining experience to the next level. With signature fare such as Cocquilles St. Jacques, local Flounder en Papillote, Rabbit Ragout with house-made Pappardelle and Fruits de Mer Tower, this is a dining experience not to be missed.

I definitely recommend the Perry Hotel if you are planning a stay in Savannah. It is quite a swanky place to stay.
Perry Lane, y'all!

  2. Good evening, Ron! The Perry Lane Hotel looks divine. Even though we rent houses when we travel, if I ever get back to Savannah, I'll surely have to check out the rooftop bar and the restaurant! Thanks for the heads up on this one! Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo

    1. I don't think it was the same place because this one only opened up a week ago.
