I'd definitely have a skull on it for Halloween, for other times, maybe a bee skep, cloche or bowl of sea glass. You're going to have fun trying out all the design possibilities. You are lucky that someone else didn't snatch it up during the "staring" period. ;) I love what you have done with it so far--I only wish I had a smidgen of your sense of style. Have fun changing it up, which I know you will. I see an ever-changing vignette with this piece often! I really like how it's styled (in the shop display? with the nest) - I've done that with one of my own, and have flower frogs and found Native American flint pieces on the opposite pan. I also like your orbs with lavender/flowerpot on the opposite side. I have another antique scale in my husband's office (a gift I bought him) that has various coins on each pan which were given to him by his uncle while traveling in the service during Vietnam era. I can see seasonal changes in styling - deer sheds, pinecones, seashells & coral, mercury orbs, books - the possibilities are endless - have fun!Rita C at Panoplyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17351306074493103021noreply@blogger.com
