The Acorn Cottage {Drape Installation}

Yesterday was a busy day at the Acorn Cottage as drapes in the sunroom, living room, and bathroom were installed.

All fabrics and tapes were purchased at Fairfax Fabric Company on Magazine Street. Patricia Daigle is the owner and is a doll to work with. The drapes were constructed in her workroom. The rods were also custom built. The installation took place yesterday, and I could not be happier. Custom drapes are definitely an investment, but they add softness to the walls.

The living room drapes are a white silk bordered in navy ribbon. The navy ribbon features a graphic pattern in white.

The sunroom drapes feature birds and foliage and are perfect in the space.

I'll share the bathroom install tomorrow.

I am still amazed at how much you have accomplished in a short time. Most people...myself included take months to get their place in order but you all are moving at record speed.
