It's Christmas Time {Acorn Cottage: Porch}

Today, I'm sharing the front porch of the Acorn Cottage.

The toy soldiers stand at attention in front of the windows each donning a plaid scarf.

A cedar wreath hangs on the door with a bow of my favorite plaid ribbon. Magnolia and cedar garlands line the entrance as well as the window. Plaid, monogrammed pillows and whimsical poinsettias complete the seasonal look.

Are you ready to come in? Stay tuned...

  1. Looks beautiful Ron! I love the monogrammed plaid pillows and wish it would stay warm enough in VA to have live poinsettias on our porch. We have to use cedars, rosemary trees or pines.

  3. I am SO ready to come in, yes! Those soldiers are quite dapper by themselves, but their scarves kick it up a notch.

  7. We have an off-site unit where we keep all our decorations. It is climate-controlled.
