Spring has Sprung on Perrier Street...

As Mardi Gras decorations come down, there is somewhat of a lull between the purple, green, and gold décor until the pastels of Spring bunnies & eggs appear.

Well, the Spring décor has arrived on Perrier. Bunnies, eggs, flowers and more await the arrival of the spring-like temperatures (I think it’s been spring for a while.) and the Easter bunny.

     Walking Uptown at this time of year is an exciting event. Many beautiful, majestic homes are awash in purple, green, and gold splendor. On a recent walk, J & I decided to document the beauty of the Mardi Gras revelry.

     I love the creative, whimsical cut-outs on many Uptown doors---crowns, king cakes, flambeauxs--- by Uptown artist Melissa Henry. Check back later this week as I feature these seasonal darlings.
