Halloween/Fall {Pretty Chinoserie Pumpkins}

 When I spotted this handpainted chinoserie tin pumpkins I knew they would be added to the sunroom. The green color and the detailed leaf and bird motifs coordinate so well in the sunroom. Green is my most favorite hue, so the addition of the seasonal pumpkins makes for a great display. The pumpkins even blend well with the leaf and bird motif of the room's custom drapes and pillows.

The pretty pumpkins were purchased from a new well-appointed shop on Magazine Street, Pique' by PK (Parker Kennedy).

I will most likely add the pumpkins to the sunroom shelves because I love them so much.

Acorn Cottage {Open House: Flowers}

No soiree at the Acorn Cottage would be complete without a couple of arrangements from Mitch's Flowers on Magazine Street.

For the living coffee table, my pumpkin dish was used and filled with autumnal blooms of hydrangeas, okra, and even persimmon branches. I also love the scented geranium leaves.

The dining room tortoise-shell vase was filled with antique-hued hydrangeas and eucalyptus which will dry do well.

Thanks to my friends at Mitch's Flowers for a couple of beautiful autumnal arrangements.

Flowers, y'all!
