Acorn Cottage {Guest Bedroom Fabric}

I was so excited to discover this Robert Allen fabric while searching on etsy. I was looking for new fabrics to coordinate with the Morgan bedding from Pottery Barn in the guest room. 

In the guest room, the duvet and comforter are bordered in emerald green. I first ordered the fabric covered lampshade from Cruel Mountain Designs. It is Robert Allen's Landsmeer in Ultramarine, a linen blend with an abstract design. Colors include shades of blue, citrine, taupe, teal, sage, tan, mocha, and aqua on an ivory background. The colors of the custom lampshade were perfect, so I quickly ordered several pillows and a runner in the same fabric. I think it looks fresh and modern with a great "pop" of color.

We also went light and bright in the guest bedroom, selecting the Pottery Barn Morgan bedding in white and green (my favorite color).

We used the antique full bed that was in the Nest on Perrier Street. Brass sconces are perfect as bedside lamps. I do have a love for sconces.

A vintage dresser is perfect for storage.

I'd also like Roman shades in this room, so I'll add this to my list of wants.
