For those of you who follow me on instagram @acorncottageuptown, I shared this photo of a first draft of a project happening at the Acorn Cottage.
Most of my followers thought the above photo was of wallpaper, and I was happy you did because that's the idea. But it is not wallpaper.
Our wallpaper installer thought that the walls of the rear vestibule were not smooth enough for wallpaper, so instead of having them smoothed (a huge process and mess), J and I hired a local artist to paint a mural that looked like wallpaper. The above photo is the first draft after I sent the artist a photo of what we liked. We asked for branches and leaves.

Today, the work began on the walls, and I am loving it so far. The project will take a couple days, and I cannot wait to share the completed project with you soon.
