Veggies & Herbs {Progress: May 2014}

How does J’s garden grow? It is growing well I must say!

Though we have not harvested vegetables to date, the plants are growing well in the troughs J planted last month. It is hard to believe they have grown so much in just over a month or so.

Tomatoes, beans, eggplants, cucumbers, and more are planted along with rosemary, thyme, and dill. I love the way the some of the plants are spilling over the troughs.

Veggies and some herbs, y’all!

  1. Wow, those plants are growing like weeds! I spied a tomato against the fence. ;) Sadly to say, I am not gardening this year. I tried growing tomatoes three years in a row, and I never had one grow big enough to even eat. :/ Have a great day! xoxo

  2. Your container garden looks wonderful. You will be harvesting fresh veggis soon!

  3. You are going to have to learn how to can vegetables this summer!

  4. Wow! Growing much faster than ours in the ground!!! Love!!

  5. Wow that is amazing how everything has grown so much! You're going to have lot of tomatoes! I've picked up my annuals and have my plans together for planting them. Now to pray for no more frosts!

  6. Your veggie containers look great. There's nothing like home grown tomatoes and fresh herbs. I only planted two tomato plants this year, but found two volunteer tomato plants in the flower beds. It should be fun seeing how, or if, they have tomatoes on them.

  7. I'm a bit afraid to get my hopes up, but today is the first day in the month of May that I've gotten your blog in my email! Feedbuzz or feedblitz or whichever one you use might have gotten their act together finally, but I'm not counting on it! I lost over 40 blogs for almost a month, and found a few by using another email address, but not all. Many other bloggers have noticed this and commented on it and tried to fix it. So hope it is fixed now. Vicki in Louisville KY
