Mardi Gras Mambo {House Float: Commander's Palace}

 OMG!!! Not only is this establishment a favorite of J and Is, but the recent Mardi Gras installation is way, way brilliant. Dedicated to the late, great Pete Fountain, the "float" features cherubs serving delicious foods and cocktails. Make mine a vodka martini, please! We missed our annual New Years Eve at Commanders, so this installation is a huge treat.

Again this year, J and I rang in 2020 at our favorite locale, Commander's Palace. The food, the friends, and the dancing at midnight signaled a new, fresh year to come.

No birthday celebration or trip for out of town guests would be complete without a meal at the world famous Commander's Palace. For brunch on Sunday, we culminated Tim's 50th {his actual birthday} with a great meal and drinks at Commander's Palace.

The meal, the service, and the company was perfect. You cannot deny that the staff at Commander's knows how to throw a party.

I started this blog on January 1, 2012, so it is my 5th year anniversary in blog world. Thanks to all of you for following and reading my myriad of posts.

Last night, we enjoyed another festive New Year's Eve at Commander's Palace. We have been ringing in the New Year's there for the past few years, and it is a blast.

We enjoyed celebrating with Monique, Heidi, and Annette (all from my hometown, Thibodaux).
