The World is Your Oyster

So the saying goes!

Thibodaux artist Lisa Papa did it yet again. Lisa created two oyster shell door pieces for the front of my home as we enter the summer months.

I instructed her to do them so that the shell faces outside on one and the inside faces outside on the other. They came out perfect. The oyster shell signal that summer is near.

A simple burlap ribbon keeps them hung neatly.

On my oyster wreath, I added a large burlap ribbon bow. The burlap features a black chevron print which ties in nicely to all of the black accents on my front porch.

Today is my final day of school then I am off for my summer!

Oyster decor, y'all!

    1. Mary, thanks for asking. The door on the left opens to my parlor. The door to the right opens up to our tenant's living room.
