Prayers for Honey

Honey is having cataract surgery this morning.

This is the photo that I received from Aunt Gail who drove her to the hospital early this morning. Oh my! {She may "kill" me for posting this.}

Ain't she stylin'? I cannot believe she would go out in public in such a way. LOL!

Getting ready for surgery, and I quote her exact words, "Get this shit over with."

Please join me in praying for Honey, her doctors, and all those who care for her.

Cataract's be gone, y'all!

  1. Prayers for her! I'm sure she'll do great. My mom had both her eyes taken care of and came out of it with better vision. Some drops in the eyes for a while and she'll be all new!!

  2. Prayers for Honey. My mom had both eyes done and she had 20/20 vision after. The only thing she said was that after the surgery she could see all the wrinkles she didn't realize she had before. :) I know Honey will be fine. xo Keep us posted.

  3. Prayers be said for Honey. My dad had both his eyes done last year. Other than the annoying drops he had to use several times a day, he said it was a piece of cake (well, given his back surgery just before, I would say so!!)

  4. Had first eye done in Oct and second in Dec and I can honestly say that there was no pain whatsoever and I feel like a whole new world has been opened for me...it's wonderful. I am sure Honey will be fine!

  9. I hope her surgery was successful! My brother and mom have both had this surgery and it seemed to help. You cracked me up with your concern for her going out in public that way! Ha!

  10. She will be so happy to see well again -- really the most annoying thing is using the drops on a schedule afterward. Well, that and not being able to wear eye makeup till it heals.
