Today, I am sharing the facade of my Uptown home on Perrier Street. I am very partial to traditional Christmas decor and colors. To me there is nothing more classic than a fresh green wreath with a pop of red bow. My facade again features 3 live wreaths and bows of red tartan plaid. I am always mad for plaid.
Garlands surround each doorway and live ivy topiaries sit in each cast iron planter. I've yet to purchase any poinsettias, but that is coming soon.
The deer purchased from Ballard Designs last season (still available) are perfect in the front garden. Of course, I had to embellish each one with live greens and a plaid bow.
The top balcony always gets a lift with lighted garlands and wreaths.

On a side note, one of my readers and her family from California stopped in to Hazelnut last Wednesday for a visit. Oh how I love to meet my readers from all over the globe. It was great meeting you, Sherri Wakefield and your family. I hope you enjoyed your visit.
