Heaux. Heaux. Heaux. {The Facade on Perrier Street}

Though this Thanksgiving break is now over, I accomplished lots of Christmas decorating. Anyone who knows me and reads this blog knows how much I love the Christmas season. From the sights, sounds, and smells of the season, I do adore all things Christmas.

Today, I am sharing the facade of my Uptown home on Perrier Street. I am very partial to traditional Christmas decor and colors. To me there is nothing more classic than a fresh green wreath with a pop of red bow. My facade again features 3 live wreaths and bows of red tartan plaid. I am always mad for plaid.

Garlands surround each doorway and live ivy topiaries sit in each cast iron planter. I've yet to purchase any poinsettias, but that is coming soon.

The deer purchased from Ballard Designs last season (still available) are perfect in the front garden. Of course, I had to embellish each one with live greens and a plaid bow.

The top balcony always gets a lift with lighted garlands and wreaths.

  6. Everything looks gorgeous! I'm partial to the dressed up deer in the garden. Love the scent of fresh greenery...far superior to artificial goods with a chemical scent. The live ivy topiaries are perfect to frame the doors.
