Mardi Gras {From My Front Porch}

One of the things I love about living in Uptown New Orleans is the Mardi Gras season. From the rocker on my front porch, I love being able to witness the Sophie B. Wright High School band practice for the upcoming parade season. I certainly missed the band during the school's three year renovation.

It is like my own parade daily from the front porch.

I took this video of my front porch night before last. I love the twinkly lights.

  3. Good morning, Ron! Seeing the band reminds me of when I was in the band at Holy Savior. When we would march through Lockport practicing for parades, people would come out of their houses and cheer us on! Love the twinkly lights on your facade at night! Have a great day! xoxo
