'Tis the Season {Chateau Lapeyre}

The day after Thanksgiving, I decorated my sister and BIL's home for the Christmas season. This is the second year they are in their new home, and it is a beautiful home in its Christmas splendor.

The home was professionally decorated in shade of creams, blues, and antique woods. The holiday decor compliments the style of the home with hints of turquoise. Peacock feathers add to the holiday style. (And she still has not found the perfect art piece for over the mantle.)

I love how the house looked during the recent snowfall in southern Louisiana.

Chateau Lapeyre, y'all!

  2. Beautiful pictures. Much happiness to all during this holiday season. Ron, with your talents and knack for decorating, buy that girl a piece of art that she can "make do" with till she selects something! Haha just make sure you love it when she replaces it and returns it to you!

  3. What a gorgeous home. Love the pretty garland on the stairway. The angels and garland on the sideboard in the dining area are beautiful and I like the poinsettias on the hearth. The snow certainly added the perfect holiday atmosphere!

  5. It is just gorgeous, Ron. The house is beautiful and you did a fantastic job decorating the home for them. It is just enough to highlight the house and not overwhelm it. It will be interesting to see what she finds for above the mantle. Merry Christmas, Ron! xo Diana
