'Tis the Season {Breakfast Room: Home Tour}

This year, J requested a real tree and large colored lights. I was skeptical, but I believe the tree turned out beautifully. With a quick trip to The Plant Gallery, the perfect 10 foot frasier fir was chosen and delivered. It was placed perfectly in the breakfast room.

The rear tree is decorated with some of our favorite local ornaments as well as special ones from our travels. I am quite happy with the colored c-7 bulbs.

  1. Ron,
    Now that's a tree...so beautiful! It reminds me of the trees we had when I was growing up with the big colored lights and the gorgeous smell of balsam/Frasier filling the room.

    Although I have long given up live trees and have even gone more modern in looks with my white tree and vintage color wheel, I still love a live tree. Best wishes to you & J for a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2018!

  5. Gosh, so pretty...and so nostalgic! That's how our home tree used to be decorated (with C7s).

  6. The tree is beautiful and I love the C7 bulbs. It’s been a long time since i’ve used that style. Takes me back to my childhood since that was the kind everyone used back then. Wishing you a Christmas filled with love.
