Every Thursday (because I like a routine), I treat myself to lunch at Nola Beans, a quaint lil coffee shoppe & eatery in the heart of Lakeview. Being in walking distance to work makes it a perfect stop for a perfect lunch.
NOLA Beans offers breakfast, lunch, and catering services. They also offer many cute one-of-a-kind New Orleans inspired gifts. Even better at this time of year, they offer Manny Randazzo king cakes, my favorite!

On Thursdays, I usually treat myself to the grilled cheese sandwich with choice of American, cheddar, provolone, havarti, or swiss on sour dough bread--- make mine havarti, please! The sandwich is surrounded by a generous bed of Zapp's potato chips--- yum!

I have also tried the BLT and the Ponchartrain chicken salad sandwiches. I would recommend both.
Stop by this lil gem of a place next time you're in Lakeview. You will not be disappointed.
