Show Me the Door!

During my many walks around Uptown, countless welcoming front doors display seasonal splendor, school spirit, and just plain fun. New Orleanian Melissa Henry designs and creates the original door art which I have fallen in love with.
Whether it is a king cake or majestic crown at Carnival, a whimsical saxophone during French Quarter or Jazz fests, or a dangling carrot for Easter, MH's pieces are true one-of-a-kind works of art.

Show Me the Door "dresses up and puts a smile on any entrance." There is a wide variety of hand painted styles to choose.

"Come on in" and brighten up your door. You can find MH's creative designs at http://www.showmethedoor.net/
Here are a few more designs by Melissa for my front door:

  2. The signs are made out of wood. All decorations are stored on our 3rd floor loft area and attic..... I am glad you like these wooden creations as much as I do.
