Oyster Shell Craze…. or Crazy!

It’s no secret that my favorite bi-valve is the oyster. It’s shape, texture, and size are perfect in decorating and making various crafty projects.

I loved the recent post by Fairhope Supply Co. where the author talks about the oyster craze of late.

Oyster shell creations are everywhere. Oyster shells are not just from tacky souvenir shops any longer. They are found in high end retailers and used for chandeliers, mirrors, and many fine home accessories. Ballard Designs and Wisteria always have great selections of oyster shell products. I have been known to spend good money on what I know are very cheap and easily accessible shells.

Low Country Originals has some of the finest oyster shell products out there on the market.

Take a look at how far the oyster shell has come.
