The Hardest Job…

I read the essay, The Hardest Job Everyone Thinks They Can Do by Dennis Hong, recently at Musings of Life and Love.

untitled

Since it is the beginning of a new school year, I thought it was fitting.

When you have a moment, read the essay and always thank a teacher!

What teacher do YOU remember the most for having that special influence on your own life? Comment below.

  1. What a great article! My English IV teacher in high school instilled a love for British Literature in me, and she is the reason I became a teacher. Did your English IV teacher influence you?!!! ;) Have a great weekend! xoxo

  2. I had two teachers that made a big impact on me as a Freshman. One was Mr. Salpino- a transplant from out of our area and he made history just come alive for me. The other was an English teacher and he brought the very best out of me...and encouraged me to show how smart I was in front of a group...something I had always shied away from doing. God bless the good teachers! I'm sure you are one of them, Ron. xo Diana

  3. My first grade teacher, Rose Berry, instilled a love of reading in me that has infiltrated my entire life. Of course, I'm sure my former students at UALR would name me as having the greatest influence. ;-D Thanks for all you do with the youth of New Orleans -- they're lucky to have such a creative and dedicated teacher. Have a great year!
