Pelican Coast Neckwear

J & I first spotted the ties by Pelican Coast at my school’s annual gala. We put in a silent bid for two of them but unfortunately did not leave with either. To my surprise on Saturday, we spotted a booth at La Boulevard Marketplace with a sale for these exact ties. Regularly $75.00, each was marked 1/2 off. $37.50 for a tie is more like it.

I love the distinct Southern nod of each and every design.

From the website:

PELICAN COAST is the ORIGINAL tie line created and dedicated to help save America's wetlands and the precious natural resources found in our disappearing coastline in Louisiana and the great Gulf South.
Since our inception in 2007, Pelican Coast has donated profits from the sale of every tie to the highly effective and nationally acclaimed America's Wetland Foundation. Pelican Coast Neckwear proudly has donated over $30,000.00 to America's Wetland Foundation. With your support, we look forward to donating much more in the years to come!

J and I quickly snapped up this one with an alligator motif.

  4. I've bought my husband several Vineyard Vines ties which are also very beautiful . . . but I love-love-love the Southern twist these ties have! How kind of them to donate $$ back to the local wetland causes. I'll be looking for these ties here in Fairhope!
