The Gifts {Updates}

J & I are home from a great trip to Point Clear, Fairhope, and Ocean Springs. I have enjoyed a great birthday week.

I could not wait to get home to hang up my newest Jean McKee painting. I hung it in the stairway under the two alligator oils that I received for Christmas.

I love the look of the trio.

The dough bowl was placed on the dining room table. I quickly filled it with reindeer moss, preserved boxwood spheres, and English ivy. I feel the arrangement signals that Spring is near.

I cannot believe that my vacation is over, and I am getting ready for school. I wish it were last week.

  1. I'm so glad you had a great birthday week. I did, too. I love what you did in the dough bowl--it is perfect for Spring and also St. Patrick's Day. You newest oil pairs great with the alligator oils. Have a great day! xoxo

  8. Wonderful gifts! The greenery in the dough bowl definitely signals spring. :)

    I'm still exhausted from helping with this move. Tomorrow is designated as a "day of rest".

  9. Excellent placement of the new picture! You caught the most perfect lighting to showcase it- love that picture of the stairwell. The new dough bowl fits in perfectly and the greens look wonderful in it- again you caught perfect lighting!

  10. The painting is fab! If I may make a suggestion...try hanging your new one at the top. It would balance the weight and appear that the gators are under the palm. :) I really enjoy your blog and home. Thank you for all the fun laugh and "y'all's"!
