Mad for Plaid…SMW Designs

I have been a follower of San Francisco designer Scot Meacham Wood for quite some time now. His blog The Adventures of Tartanscot is one of my faves. His use of plaid is outstanding, and I love plaids.

I love the way that he incorporates plaid into his designs. I recently stumbled upon these photos, and I was in awe. They are absolutely amazing. The way in which he mixes fabrics excites my senses.

Aren’t these photos absolutely gorgeous? These rooms have such a classic, masculine vibe.

If you are not following his blog, do so today. You are in for a treat.

Thanks to Dixie Delights for the plaid accessories. I know that Scot would love them too.

Plaid, y’all!

  1. I saw the plaid this morning on her blog. Gorg!

  2. Not only do I love Scot's blog and decorating style, but this weekend, I'm wearing a long tartan skirt with a black off-shoulder velvet top to a Christmas formal. I'm so excited, because I've looked for a skirt like this forever!

  3. I've seen his name on a couple of blogs that have a link but I never went to look. This has been an amazing year for finding things to do with tartan plaid!

  4. Good morning, Ron! Just starting following Scot's blog! Love your plaid desk accessories from Dixie Delights--Amanda sure does know you! Have a great day! xoxo

  5. Plaid! A favorite of mine for many, many years! Enjoy your Thursday, Ron. Only seven more sleeps until Christmas morning!

  6. Oh wow! What gorgeous rooms! Very Ralph Lauren "esque". I can see why you love that style.

  7. Love Scot's blog, too, Ron! He uses plaids beautifully! I've always loved it; but, I've had a hard time making it work with my decor. I was determined to use it for Christmas this year. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to keep a few touches after the holidays. Love the accessories!

  8. Hi, I've been enjoying your blog for a few months now, love your style, love this plaid, too! I always have plaids, tartans, for the holidays. Thanks for your inspiring blog!
