The inventors of this lovely paper mache’ deer head certainly did not construct it to be a tree topper I’m certain. I originally purchased it to use on the chalkboard post for the season. But, like many times before, I had a “voila” moment.
I ended up using it as a topper on the parlor tree. I love the way the simplicity of the deer head ties in to the other deer trophies and natural elements that I have used throughout the room. A simple bow and glittered sprays of acorns and leaves complete the top.

Deer Head Topper, y’all!
Good morning, Ron! Leave it to you to have such a unique tree-topper! Looks great with all of your other natural elements! Looking forward to seeing it as well as the rest of your home before the end of the Christmas season. Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteCool ... I'm doing unadorned small live trees throughout the house this year - but think the deer is a unique tree topper. Mine is hung on my kitchen wall with a boxwood wreath around his neck! Mine speaks French because he is papier mâché from French text.
ReplyDeleteWill join in tomorrow for the tour.
