Tis the Season…Dining Room {Christmas 2014}

Thanks so much for your nice comments regarding my Christmas Open House posts yesterday. Welcome to my newest followers too!

Today, I’d like to share the dining room of my home.

I was so excited when I found the vintage dough bowl in March. I love using it seasonally as I enjoy mixing the “old” with the new. I filled the doughbowl with preserved boxwood orbs, glittery pomegranates, antlers, pine cones, and of course gilded acorns.

The doughbowl is surrounded by two shiny topiaries.

On the window, I added a magnolia wreath sprayed in gilded gold. The magnolia wreath was from last year. I simply applied a heavy-duty suction cup to the window.

Above the buffet, I surrounded my favorite bird oil with lush greenery. The buffet itself features the oyster shell tureen atop a Vagabond House antler-handled tray. The tureen is flanked by greenery and more gilded acorns and glittered pomegranates.

On the French baker’s shelves, I have placed more pomegranates and special Christmas ornaments in some of my favorite serving pieces.
