It’s Carnival Time {Dining Room}

Now it’s on to the dining room donned in its Mardi Gras finery.

The doughbowl filled with preserved boxwood orbs is accented with beads, balls, and a jester.

On the buffet, the large Alison Evans oyster coffee table bowl is filled with purple, green, and gold beads.

The French baker’s shelves are also fun to decorate seasonally with bits of pizzazz. The Alison Evans clam shell is filled with jester figures and beads.

My fave jester cocktail Culver glasses sit atop the oyster shell cake plate.

Fleur de lis ornaments fill an Abigail’s compote, and feathers fill a wine vessel.

The dining room is often a hub for Mardi Gras visitors as the table is used as a large buffet table.

  3. Hi Ron! Each day is full of delight on your blog. Loving all the Mardi Gras décor in the dining room! May I ask where you found your French Bakers Shelves? They are the perfect size for my tiny little breakfast room and would perfectly hold everything I need to store in open display! Have a great week!
