Shotgun Home Tour {New Orleans}

The weather was absolutely picture perfect for today’s annual Preservation Resource Center’s Shotgun Home Tour. Today’s tour featured several homes off Washington Avenue in the Irish Channel neighborhood.

J & I love this annual tour every Spring. The walkability of the neighborhoods makes for an even more exciting tour.

I love a good home tour, and  I was impressed with this one.

Valorie Hart’s home was on the tour too. If you recall, Valorie authored the book House Proud of which J & I’s home is featured in Chapter 7.

  1. Hi Ron,
    I'm going to take out my book of House Proud and look at chapter 7. I hadn't realized you were included in Valories book. One day I hope to attend the shot gun tour.

  3. Are the houses with two front doors all duplexes? Some look too small to house two families! I love the colorful exteriors and beautiful flowers and flags! Some day I hope to visit New Orleans!
