A Haunted Halloween 2015 {Come on in....}

Come on in.... but be careful. Boo!

The parlor features many of my favorite Halloween decorations.

On the entry chest, Esmerelda the witch stands guard and welcomes all who enter the home. My collection of vintage apothecary jars look great corralled in a tray.

On the coffee table bench, a lucite tray holds the skull & crossbones decanter and double old fashioneds.

The secretary is always used to showcase various seasonal finds. This Halloween, the secretary showcases a whimsical skull, a gold skeleton hand, and spider plate.

I love the glass curiosity box on a side table. I added preserved wasps nests and my collection of preserved insects. I love the natural display.

And here is a peek at the mantle which I'll highlight on the blog Tuesday.

Esmerelda- Green Acres, Thibodaux
Apothecary bottles- Paris Market, Savannah/Timothy De Clue, Seattle
Skull on stand- Little Miss Muffin
Preserved insects- Hazelnut
Gold skeleton hand- One King's Lane
Spider plate- One Fish, Two Fish, Savannah
Decanter & glasses- The Paris Market, Savannah
Curiosity box- AKA Stella Gray

A Haunted Halloween Parlor, y'all!

  2. Do you guys get many trick or treaters? I'm sure they love your house! I admit I skip right over Halloween. Too busy with Thanksgiving and Christmas :)

  3. Excellent Ron! I like the skull with the hat and the curiosity box with the bugs and wasps nests- perfect for the science teacher!

  4. Good morning, Ron! Loving all your Halloween vignettes! Can't wait to see the rest of them! Have a great day! xoxo

  5. Amazing! I do have to say, the only insects I truly like are the preserved ones, LOL.
