Happy New Year 2016!

From HERE to now...

Last night, we celebrated the New Year at our local fave, Commander's Palace. They really know how to do it right. It is always a fun time.

We celebrated with "cousin" Monique and former neighbors Spivey & Nancy.

We started off the evening with a Veuve Clicquot toast in the parlor at our home. The champagne glasses are by Abigails.

Commander's Palace is quintessential New Orleans and is a great spot to celebrate any occasion including New Year's Eve.

We were seated at our usual table in the Garden Room, our fave. I love how the jazz ensembles come around and spread the spirit of the season.

Ten minutes prior to midnight, we headed downstairs for dancing and the countdown to midnight.

We danced to Auld Lang Syne. It was a truly magical, fun-filled night with friends.

I hope that you and yours celebrate a happy and healthy 2016.

Happy New Year's, y'all!
