What Makes Me Happy {The Essence of Home}

Welcome to another week of What Makes Me Happy. Today, Kelly of The Essence of Home shares What Makes Her Happy. Kelly is a great blog friend who loves to decorate her home. I enjoy her love of decorating and the love she has for her immediate family.

Hello everyone!

I'm Kelly from The Essence of Home and I am so honored to have been invited to participate in this fun blog series!  Thank you Ron for including me!

I think I am a happy person, in general, but there are certain things that lift my spirits just a little bit higher.  I like the little things in life.  I don't have to go to exotic places and drive the hottest car.  I don't have to live in the most cosmopolitan area either.  Here is a random list of things that make me happy.

MY FIRST CUP OF COFFEE IN THE MORNING

A WARM SUNNY DAY

AN EMPTY CALENDAR

CASUAL COMFY CLOTHES

EATING OUT

GOING TO THE MOVIES

QUIET MOMENTS

SHOPPING AT CUTE HOME STORES

SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY

GOING TO THE GYM

HAVING A CLEAN HOUSE

WHEN MY HUSBAND COOKS DINNER FOR THE FAMILY

EATING DECADENT ICECREAM AND OTHER FOODS NOT SO GOOD FOR YOU

SLEEPING IN

BEING AROUND UPLIFTING PEOPLE AND THOSE THAT INSPIRE ME

DECORATING MY HOUSE

RECEIVING HAPPY MAIL

READING BLOGS AND INSTAGRAM

So, I hope this gives you a sense of what brightens my day just a little.  I guess I could wish for world peace and all of that stuff too, but I'll just have to leave that for another time.

Thanks for taking the time to read this little list of mine!

  4. Sounds like we are the same person...well except going to the gym - bleh. Do you like to clean? I LOVE IT! My fave smell is the batch of clothes that just came out of the washing machine that had detergent, bleach and softener...MMMM. I think I'll go wash some clothes. Hope you have a great week!

  12. Where is the location of your house? Those houses built by merchant builders in suburban areas and housing tracts carry less residential construction costs than those built in metropolitan areas. For example, New York new house construction is 34% more expensive than the 19 next largest cities of Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, etc. garage conversion
