And so it begins... {Christmas 2017}

Yes! That is a real tree.
Yes! That is colored lights.

The Plant Gallery

After much discussion, J & I went with a real tree for the back den along with the old-fashioned C7 colored lights. The Plant Gallery made the entire process an easy one from start to finish. We chose our 10 ft. Frasier fir tree on Friday afternoon and was delivered by noon on Saturday morning. The delivery guys could not have been nicer and more professional.

J wanted a throwback to the "good ole" days. You will have to wait to see how it turned out, but J and I did finish the den and parlor trees yesterday. I hope to get to the rear garlands when I get home this evening.

Oh, Christmas Tree, y'all!

  1. Ron, I know your home will be beautifully decorated for the holidays...it always is! I am thinking of a real tree this year too.

    I have sold No Minimalist Here and all social media associated with the blog. I'll still be reading my favorite blogs and I hope we can stay in touch through my new account on Instragram and Pinterest. You can find me under Sherry Carroll.

    I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

    Best,

  2. It is gonna be beautiful. My hubby loves the old style bulbs!!! I have my MILs VERY old ones (not sure I would put them on a tree they are that old), and I saw wreaths made with them. Need to bring them home next year.

  5. Fraser Firs are the best! I haven’t used a natural tree in years. I love how they have nice firm branches. Enjoy!

  6. Nothing brings back memories of Christmas at home than the big tree in our living room with C7 lights. Thanks for the memories, Ron. This will be fabulous, and I can't wait to see all of your trees decked out.
