From Our Home to Yours {Christmas Facade}

Moving into a new home is always exciting but decorating for the Christmas season is over-the-top exciting. For the front facade, I used real greenery wreaths and garlands with velvet red bows for a classic, Southern look.

The iconic New Orleans door hanger was commissioned by local talent Cynthia Kolls. She is definitely my go-to artist for the front door.

Four 12' wreaths hang in the windows of the sunroom and a 24" hangs in the porch window.

The olive jar also received some seasonal joy with the addition of birch logs, pine branches, and cedar stems. A red velvet bow adds just the right seasonal touch.

On the wrought iron fence, live cedar garland and coordinating bows welcome our guests.

The two deer also stand at attention.

The cottage really does make a great Christmas statement. I cannot wait to share more of the Acorn Cottage dressed up in her Christmas splendor. She is a cutey!
