HOPpy Easter {Weekend}

This Easter was certainly different for J & I as we are usually in Houma on Good Friday and then in Grand Isle for the rest of the weekend. There were certainly no beaches in my quarantined Easter weekend plans.

For J & I, it was certainly a Southern Hospitality Catering kind of weekend. Southern Hospitality Catering is a local catering company offering weekly menus of delicious foods. For the past two Saturdays, we have also enjoyed the hot boiled crawfish along with the fixins, potatoes, corn, and sausage.

We also ordered the Easter dinner which we dined on for Easter brunch and dinner. The Easter menu consisted of deviled eggs, spicy crawfish quiche, sliced honey apricot glazed ham, mashed root veggies, and garden green beans almondine. It was absolutely delicious.

The pick-up is also effortless. You simply drive through the parking lot on Chippewa Street, pop your trunk, and SHC will place your goods for you - 100% no contact!

I'm already looking forward to this week's upcoming menu which will feature some of Jazz Fest favorites like crawfish monica. I can hardly wait.

Thanks to Southern Hospitality Catering for such good foods and professional service.

HOPpy Easter, y'all!

  1. Good morning, Ron! Our Easter very different this year, too. We had to cancel our Holy Saturday Fauntleroy crawfish boil which has been a tradition for over 30 something years, and it was just Steve and I here yesterday for Easter. The food that you bought from Southern Hospitality Catering looks delicious, and I love your tablescape--so festive! Hopefully, next Easter, we will be back to normal. Have a good day! xoxo

  2. Oh my goodness! This looks so good! I have tried to eat crawfish once but I don’t think I did it right.
    I need to a lesson. Sounds like you had a wonderful Easter.
