Mardi Gras Mambo {House Float: Commander's Palace}

 OMG!!! Not only is this establishment a favorite of J and Is, but the recent Mardi Gras installation is way, way brilliant. Dedicated to the late, great Pete Fountain, the "float" features cherubs serving delicious foods and cocktails. Make mine a vodka martini, please! We missed our annual New Years Eve at Commanders, so this installation is a huge treat.

Celebrating food, drink, and music... how perfect is this?

Pete Fountain, y'all!

  1. I am just blown away by some of these homes! Great to see them give tributes to NOLA greats such as Pete Fountain. The other day our local TV channel in RVA even featured a story on the Mardi Gras homes decorated this season in place of the floats.

  2. Good evening, Ron! I know Commander's Palace is a favorite of you and J's! I love their tribute to Pete Fountain, and those cherubs serving food are so charming and whimsical! I'll take a dirty martini or two! Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo

  3. OMG was my reaction when I opened this one! Really Incredible, the spirit of NOLA! I love the lobsters, lol.
