Geaux Saints Geaux!

The football season here in NOLA starts tonight as the Saints take on the Houston Texans in the dome. The black and gold fleur de lis door hanger has been a staple around here during the month of September for the start of football season.

The addition of a black and gold Greek key motif is a perfect compliment.

Cheers to a stellar season, Saints!

Geaux Saints, y'all!

The Gold Standard

You remember this year's classroom theme, The Periodic Table. I was excited to purchase this Saints-inspired Black & Au (Gold) t-shirt from New Orleans own Dirty Coast located on Magazine Street. It is a perfect addition to my game day wears.

"The element of soul and spirit in New Orleans. The crown jewel of our cultural periodic table."

You can always bet on The Gold Standard.

Black & Au, y'all!

The city of New Orleans is awash in Black & Gold. New Orleanians have Saints fever! From banners to flags, from bunting to yard signs, from door decor to vehicle additions, New Orleanians certainly know how to show their support for our boys in black & gold.

We can only hope for a repeat of a Black & Gold Superbowl. The city is alive. The city is electric.

Bless our boys versus San Fransisco today.

Even Joan of Arc has Black & Gold fever
